Experience/Education
Ms. Trujillo-Chávez is the executive director of the Pecos Valley Regional Education Cooperative #8. Previously, she worked for the New Mexico Public Education Department, where she held the positions of bureau chief, division director, and program manager. She has also served as an education consultant and food program specialist for the New Mexico Department of Education, as an education coordinator for the University of New Mexico-Valencia, and as a high school teacher in Estancia, New Mexico.

Ms. Trujillo-Chávez received a bachelor's degree in vocational home economics education from the University of New Mexico in Albuquerque, and a master's degree in education administration from New Mexico Highlands University in Las Vegas, New Mexico.
