Experience/Education

Dr. Rozeman is a cardiologist and president of Cardiovascular Consultants, a large single-specialty cardiology group in Shreveport. He is a long-time board member of Willis-Knighton Health System—the largest health system in the Southwest. He is also an active member of numerous civic and professional organizations and a strong advocate for school improvement in Louisiana.

Dr. Rozeman has founded two nonprofit education organizations: the Alliance for Education in northwest Louisiana, and the statewide advocacy group Education’s Next Horizon. Both are designed to facilitate business and community involvement in public education. For these efforts, he has received several honors, among them the Distinguished Partner in Education Award from the Louisiana Department of Education, the Friend of Education Award from the Louisiana Association of Educators, and Business Leader of the Year in Shreveport.

Dr. Rozeman received his medical degree from the Louisiana State University Health Science Center in Shreveport, where he graduated with honors in the top 5 of his class. He completed his internship, residency, and fellowship in cardiology at the Medical University of South Carolina and is board certified in internal medicine, cardiology, and interventional cardiology.
