Grants and Other OpportunitiesAmerican Honda Foundation. The American Honda Foundation's funding priorities are STEM education, the environment, job training and literacy. Nonprofits, public school districts, and private/public elementary and secondary schools are eligible to apply. Submission deadlines are quarterly: February 1, May 1, August 1, and November 1. The NEA Foundation provides individual and group grants to advance the professional learning of public education professionals. Grants to individuals can support high-quality professional development experiences, such as summer institutes or action research; grants to groups fund collegial study, including study groups, action research, lesson plan development, or mentoring experiences for faculty or staff new to an assignment.
