Service On-Demand

National Partnership staff members are available to assist State Afterschool Coordinators and local sites in the development of exemplary programs. In addition, we offer high-quality, fee-for-service training designed for afterschool project directors, site coordinators, instructors, and afterschool staff from community organizations. Choose from a wide variety of 90-minute to 3-hour sessions, or let us customize a staff development experience of two or more days in length. Browse the topics available here, or contact us for more information.

Staff Professional Development Sessions: Family and Community

Integrating Family and Community Involvement Practices into Programming

Participants share successful ideas from their programs and learn various strategies from research and experiences for promoting family and community involvement in afterschool programs. This session is based on a "For Sale" marketing format that participants can take back to their schools for community and parental involvement planning.
