Supporting Sustainability Efforts in School Turnarounds Supporting Sustainability Efforts in School Turnaround

In November, the Southeast and Texas Comprehensive Centers hosted a regional institute, Supporting Sustainability Efforts in School Turnaround, for the states they serve. Educators working in school turnaround had the opportunity to network with their counterparts from other states, engage in conversations with experts in the field, and meet with nationally recognized educators and researchers about critical topics that were identified by participating states. Presentations and handouts from the institute are available online.

SEDL IN THE NEWS

Through the Vocational Rehabilitation Service Models for Individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorders (VR-Autism) project, SEDL identified programs that were effective in helping people with autism spectrum disorders find and keep jobs. The Cape Gazette discusses the VR-Autism project in an article outlining Productive Opportunities for Work & Recreation, one of the 10 programs identified as effective during the project.
