Cost-Effective College and Career Readiness Programs

A recent report completed by SEDL’s Southeast Comprehensive Center provides information about cost-effective college and career readiness programs. The report examines the purpose, goals, and principles of each program; implementation timeline; costs to implement and maintain; and evaluation results. The report finds that program impact varied by the level of student preparation. In addition, although some programs reviewed are not available for purchase, they do provide important information to be considered as state decision makers review all aspects of improving their students’ readiness for college and career choices. The report is available on the SECC website (downloads as pdf).
