With little advanced prep/materials, program leaders using the program manual can offer kids a way to investigate the world using the Private Eye, a program based on visual investigations with an inexpensive jeweler’s loupe and their curiosity.
Private Eye encourages students and teachers to work side-by-side as they investigate the world with a jeweler's loupe. Students will develop new perspectives, creativity, and scientific habits, and because study topics are based on students' curiosity or on teacher topics, the curriculum can span everything from geology to zoology. Teachers won't need to plan or prepare extensively, and leaders with varied experience can carry out this program.
