This set of activities/staff guides empowers girls to pursue science, math, and technology careers.  Designed to build confidence/offer success, these activities include ideas for extensions, but instructors must prepare daily logistics/activities.

Girls Inc.'s Operation SMART is a set of activities and staff training guides developed to help afterschool programs empower girls to pursue science, math, and technology careers. Although some activities are drawn from other sources, SMART's philosophy is evident in each: all are success-based and designed to build confidence. The program provides full activities as well as ideas for extensions, but instructors will need to plan most day-to-day logistics.
