Featuring an elegant set of experiments this kit permits users to “see” temperature changes in liquid crystal thermometers. These visceral activities offer immediate results and an engaging way to for kids to experience scientific experimentation.

This well-designed set of experiments lets kids 'see' changes in temperature through the use of liquid crystal thermometers. Visceral activities with immediate results offer a (perhaps overly) engaging way to teach kids about the scientific method instructors will need to design and stick to a lesson plan to prevent the kit's materials from becoming distracting. Some concepts may be hard for younger students to understand; small groups work best.
