For five to 12 year old kids, the question of life beyond Earth is captivating.  These materials address that question through astrobiology through easily accessible, low-cost household items, and innovative lessons/activities from NASA and AMNH.

Astrobiology is a highly engaging eight-part set of activities created by the American Museum of Natural History (AMNH) and NASA. Through these materials, kids aged five to 12 are able to explore the field of astrobiology using easily accessible and low cost household items in innovative lessons and activities. Activities are linked to the relevant National Science Standards and offer a framework for considering the question of whether there is life beyond Earth, a question that seems to capture the imagination of so many children.
