About CPL
For more than 40 years, SEDL has researched, designed, and delivered nationally
recognized solutions to educational challenges.
SEDL has expanded its work to include the launch of the SEDL Center for Professional Learning (CPL). The CPL's work offers professional development and technical assistance based on many of our leading products and programs, including
- the Concerns-Based Adoption Model (CBAM), authored by Shirley M. Hord;
- the research synthesis A New Wave of Evidence: The Impact of School, Family, and Community Connections on Student Achievement;
- the award-winning professional development package Active Learning with Technology; and
- the newly released Working Systemically in Action.
In the future, SEDL will offer professional learning sessions based on our national work with our parental information resource centers across the country and our work as the leader of the National Center for Quality Afterschool.
SEDL professional development products are used and respected by educators because our solutions are grounded in research and tailored to meet your needs. Participants in CPL sessions will receive expert instruction from fellow educators and administrators who understand the pressures of today's schools and classrooms.
