Sessions by Theme - Afterschool and Expanded Learning
The Virtual Academy for Afterschool offers a series of online interactive courses designed to build the knowledge and skills of afterschool instructors to deliver content-based academic programming. The courses are based on 5 years of research and observations at 100 afterschool sites, with evaluation data suggesting an impact on student learning.
The Courses
Course content is delivered though numerous readings, engaging multimedia, and modeling sequences which will equip learners to teach their subject matter authentically.
