Concerns-Based Adoption Model Webinar Series

The Concerns-Based Adoption Model (CBAM) is a conceptual framework that provides tools and techniques for assessing and facilitating reform in an educational environment. The dimensions of CBAM can be used to examine the components of an innovation, to track the progress of implementation, to report the findings objectively, and to design interventions or strategies that will move the process forward. Individuals conducting research or evaluating reform initiatives may also find these tools helpful in measuring the implementation of specific reforms.

This 5-part webinar series will introduce the three CBAM tools: Innovation Configuration, Stages of Concern, and Levels of Use. Sessions will provide an in-depth exploration of the Innovation Configuration and instruction on using the Stages of Concern Questionnaire. Levels of Use (LoU) will be introduced but becoming an effective LoU interviewer requires 3 days of face-to-face training. Participants will have an opportunity to develop a plan for implementing CBAM with a specific change initiative.
