Leadership for Changing Schools
Leadership for Changing Schools is SEDL’s most extensive and enduring professional development offering. The program is designed to help district and school teams understand and apply knowledge about the change process and how it affects individuals. Leadership for Changing Schools provides several tools and six research-based strategies to help lead schools through the change process. The course was developed by former SEDL scholar emerita Shirley M. Hord. Who Should Attend:Teams of 3–5 people drawn from district and campus leadership should attend both sessions. This is a long-term commitment that includes expectations for implementing strategies learned in the two sessions.

In Session 2, leadership teams will learn how to
- implement strategies that address staff concerns about innovations;
