Helping students achieve high academic standards
Comprehensive school reform (CSR) encourages schools to focus on all aspects of their schoolÍs operations when making improvements. Rather than implementing isolated programs that may or may not improve the academic performance of all students, schools engaged in a CSR improve themselves by implementing comprehensive school improvement models that provide proven methods and strategies for teaching, learning, and school management.
Comprehensive Models
Schools may choose from a variety of research-based comprehensive models that provide resources and tools, as well as training and support. Ideally, a CSR reform effort will address each schoolÍs unique needs, build on its strengths, and help meet the schoolÍs academic goals.
