Professional Development
Virtual Academy for Afterschool: Using Your Afterschool Program to Build Skills in the Arts: SEDL's Virtual Academy for Afterschool offers online, interactive modules to build the knowledge and skills of expanded learning instructors. The Arts module provides activities and materials to help engage students in the arts, develop fun art projects, and connect the arts to other academic subjects.
Service on Demand: Developing Your Afterschool Arts Programs to Enhance Academic Learning: SEDL’s National Center for Quality Afterschool offers fee-for-service professional development designed for expanded learning programs. The arts course provides practical suggestions about how to develop the academic potential of the arts in expanded learning programs.
