National Center for the Dissemination of Disability Research: SEDL’s National Center for the Dissemination of Disability Research works with researchers to help increase the effective use of their research results in shaping new technologies, improving service delivery, and expanding decision-making options for people with disabilities and their families.Research Utilization Support and Help: SEDL’s Research Utilization Support and Help (RUSH) project identifies, describes, and encourages the use of effective research utilization strategies. It focuses on disability research findings in health, technology access, independent living, and community integration.
Southwest ADA Center Research: SEDL is partnering with the Disability and Business Technical Assistance Center (DBTAC) Americans with Disabilities Act Center for federal region VI ("Southwest DBTAC"). SEDL staff will direct three new research studies for the Southwest DBTAC, which serves Arkansas, Louisiana, New Mexico, Oklahoma, and Texas.
