About the SLC Awards Database
The SLC awards database listed information about districts and schools that have been awarded SLC funds. Each record contained demographic information, information from the grant application, and a list of the structures and strategies each school is implementing.
In 2000, the Department of Education awarded SEDL a contract to construct an online database to host the Smaller Learning Communities (SLC) awards database. SEDL hosted the database from 2000 through September 2006. In October 2006, the database was transferred to a new hosting contractor. Please contact the Department of Education if you have questions about the status of the SLC Awards Database site.
Note, the new contractor's SLC Database site at http://slcprogram.ed.gov/ is no longer available as of 2009.
