The National Partnership for Quality Afterschool Learning: SEDL’s National Partnership for Quality Afterschool Learning helps afterschool practitioners develop high-quality, balanced programs through research-based resources and professional development. The Afterschool Training Toolkit contains a section on literacy that describes promising practices that work as well as sample lessons and illustrative videos.Recovery School District: SEDL designs and delivers training sessions on literacy for teachers, literacy coaches, reading interventionists, and principals in the Louisiana Recovery School District, which was established to turn around underperforming schools in New Orleans. SEDL also provides onsite support.
