Modules for Community and Family Involvement with Schools

SEDL's National Center for Family and Community Connections with Schools has reviewed emerging findings and research in the area of family and community involvement with schools to develop the following three interactive strategy briefs, which are available in English and Spanish. The English briefs are also available on CD-ROM as part of the product Beyond the Building: A Facilitation Guide for School, Family, and Community Connections.

Modules for Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills for Languages Other Than English (TEKS for LOTE)

In 2003, SEDL developed a series of five learning modules for Prek-12 foreign language educators that help them enhance their proficiency in the Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills for Languages Other Than English (TEKS for LOTE) and in the implementation of standards-based classroom instruction, curriculum development, and performance-based management.
