SEDL Launches Redesigned Web SiteJuly 27, 2005
The Southwest Educational Development Laboratory (SEDL) is pleased to announce the launch of its redesigned Web site, http://www.sedl.org. The corporate Web site has been redesigned and updated to provide easier site navigation and to incorporate database technology to automate cross-linkages between related content.
The site has a new look and feel and makes use of a wider margin. For users this means more content with less scrolling. It is now divided into six areas:
- About Us
- Programs and Projects
- SEDL Store
- Electronic Library
- News and Events
Web administrator Brian Litke and media design associate Shaila Abdullah led the redesign project team. Litke says a major goal of the redesign was to make the site more functional for a wide variety of users. "The new site home page, as well as the site navigation, provides quick ways to access SEDL's products, projects, services, and events,” he says. "Staff writers did a great job of writing content for the site that provides rich information about our organization and our work, while keeping the copy concise."
