SEDL Wins Gold and Platinum MarCom Awards for Communications WorkJanuary 10, 2014
SEDL has won a MarCom Gold Award for its 2012 annual report Open the Possibilities, and a MarCom Platinum Award for its 2012 Communications Plan.
MarCom Awards is an international creative competition for any individual or company involved in the concept, writing and design of print, visual, audio and web materials and programs. Entries come from corporate marketing and communication departments, advertising agencies, PR firms, design shops, production companies and freelancers.
The MarCom competition has grown to perhaps the largest of its kind in the world with about 6,000 entries per year. A look at the winners shows a range in size from individuals to media conglomerates and Fortune 50 companies. The competition is so well thought of in the industry that national public relations organizations, local ad clubs, and local business communicator chapters are entrants.
SEDL’s 2010 Annual Report Roadmap to Results was also Platinum Award winner.
“Our communications team is extremely talented and dedicated to telling compelling stories about our work in the education arena,” said SEDL’s communication’s director Christine Moses. “We work hard to bring our internal and external clients the highest quality products, publications, and services, and we deeply appreciate being recognized for our efforts,” she said.
