Catherine Jordan, a program manager with SEDL's Afterschool, Family, and Community program was recently a guest participant on Nevada Public Radio. Research has shown that parental involvement can help boost student achievement in school. SEDL hosts both the National PIRC (Parental Information and Resource Center) Coordination Center and the National Center for Family and Community Connections with Schools.
