PRIORITY AREAS
  • Using (gathering) student experiences (data) to provide feedback to inform and drive professional development.
  • Work on K-16 plan for professional development with partners.
ACTION STEPS
  • Design and select prompts to be included at the end-of-term tests to gather data on student experiences.
  • Administer (re) the CLSR student customer satisfaction survey about the quality of student work (Spring '02) look at longitudinal results.
  • Begin planning student site committees at the district level for opportunities for customer feedback.
  • Be sure university faculty are included in the school walk throughs and opportunities for reflection are built in. Include all partner colleges and universities.
  • Revisit professional development plan based on data collected.

  • Curriculum and assessment alignment
  • Align instruction with everything.
ACTION STEPS
  • Present the tools for looking at depth of knowledge and occurrence to assessment specialists (Dec. 19)
  • Level the math standards (objectives) for the newly created K-12 curriculum documents.
  • Level the district term tests for mathematics and check for alignment with the standards (Jan-March).
  • Plan for the science curriculum revision process to include the assignment of levels for depth of knowledge (Summer '02).
  • Research Middle School curriculum tests for alignment information if this has not been done adequately, plan along with assessment to perform alignment.
