  • Develop an evaluation tool.
  • Distribute evaluation tool to focal schools.
  • Analyze the results.
  • Interpret the results. Make decisions based on results of the evaluation.

  • Tacking students across school type (i.e., BIA, public, charter, grant, private)
  • Become more efficient in classroom walk-throughs (observation instrument - resources instruction, curricula)
  • Track professional development and the implementation n the classroom.
ACTION STEPS
  • Collect individual student data on all school types in Navajo Nation.
  • Establish credibility with school types by working with schools on data collection and analysis.
  • Follow-up with the development of a uniform, instrument for walk throughs.
  • Establish other criterion that measures classroom efficiency.
  • Identify and find out who is working the professional development they received.
  • Identify what the barriers are for implementation.
