Jennifer King Rice, Ph.D. is an associate professor in the Department of Education Policy and Leadership at the University of Maryland and is a research associate with the Economic Policy Institute. Her research draws on the discipline of economics to explore education policy questions concerning the efficiency, equity, and adequacy of U.S. public education. She has been published in numerous journals, multiple edited volumes, and is co-editor of Fiscal Policy in Urban Education.
