Experience/Education
Prior to joining SEDL in July 1997, Dr. Ferguson was a curriculum coordinator for the Central Texas Tech Prep Consortium. In addition to 15 years of classroom experience, she has had extensive experience as a workshop presenter in such areas as assessment, portfolios, real world applications, classroom structure, learning styles, and other classroom related areas.

She holds a PhD from Union Institute and University in Cincinnatti, Ohio. Her doctorate was in Interdisciplinary Studies with a focus on Teacher Education, Curriculum and Instruction. She also holds an MEd in Education Administration and a BA in Speech Communication from Tarleton State University.
