Prior to joining SEDL in October 2006, Ms. Timmons served as vice president of development and marketing for the Skillpoint Alliance. Before joining Skillpoint, she was the senior vice president of development at KLRU-TV, Austin's PBS station.

Education
Ms. Timmons holds a bachelor's degree in marketing from the University of Texas at Austin.
