    These short, topic-centered papers provide concise information and guidance about a particular issue.

  • Classroom Resources: Lesson Plans/Teaching Materials
    These resources can be used to prepare teaching materials.

  • Literature Reviews/Research Syntheses
    These resources review the current research literature for a topic and may synthesize the research, draw conclusions, and recommend further study or action. Resources generally cover a range of topics for specific audiences, usually one topic for each issue in the series.

  • Magazines
    They are sent to schools and other SEDL clients based on their area of interest.

  • Professional Development Resources: Guides/Toolkits
    These resources provide tools and guided information to help users change their personal practice to improve such areas as leadership, engaging the community, integrating technology into teaching and learning, and more.

  • Reports
    These resources report on the "big ideas" of a particular issue, or they report on the progress of a particular research study or program of work.

  • Resource Lists
    These lists direct users to resources that address a particular need or topic.

  • Videos
    SEDL videos cover a wide variety of subjects. Some are designed to be professional development resources; others are reports or demonstrations of current practice in the field.
