2008 SECC Annual Regional Forum - The Turnaround Schools' Journey: Insights, Initiatives, and Implications

SEDL presented the 2008 Southeast Comprehensive Center’s Annual Regional Forum entitled The Turnaround Schools’ Journey: Insights, Initiatives, and Implications, which was held May 21 – 23, 2008, at the Marriott Convention Center in New Orleans, LA. We focused this year’s forum on the recently released report, The Turnaround Challenge, by Mass Insight Education & Research Institute and highlighted several states, including our five Southeast states, in supporting the work of school and district improvement in their states.
