Teacher and Leader Keys Professional Development Project

Effectiveness Coaching Training was designed to build the capacity of state department of education staff by increasing their effectiveness in working with district and school leaders in the implementation of the Teacher and Leader Keys.

This project is in the following state: Georgia.

March

The Georgia Department of Education requested that SECC consultant Dr. Sandra Lindsay facilitate additional professional learning that includes a scripted process with video examples and role play situations to help coaches improve their abilities to work with multiple personality types. This professional learning is tentatively scheduled for late summer.


February

Follow-up for this training indicated that participants were utilizing the strategies presented during the training and reporting that their interactions with districts and schools were more effective.


January

On January 20, 2012, SECC consultant Dr. Sandra Lindsay facilitated a one-day session for state department of education staff that focused on conducting effective coaching conversations.
